◎ Description:

The aquafarmers in Beimen District, Tainan, are killing three birds with one stone by incorporating solar panels and flood control system into their aquaculture ponds. During heavy rainfall, a drainage system and gutters on the panels direct excess water to retention ponds to avoid flooding and overflow of the ponds. The farmer uses HCP PUMP LH Series and L Series Large Volume Pumps to facilitate drainage. Each retention pond has a 3.7kW LH LH-65 that pumps 2m3/min at 6.5m head, ensuring rapid water removal. A 11kW L L-300B is also utilized, pumping 7m3/min at 5.5m head for efficient drainage. The integration of green energy and aquafarming, coupled with highly efficient HCP pumps, not only aids with flood control but also unlocks new opportunities for sustainable aquaculture development.
